A B O U T

Through vibrant, expressionist paintings inspired by nature,
I hope to inspire travelers and explorers to reconnect with the beauty and adventure of the outdoors.
About the Artist
Jean Habeck is a Colorado-based painter, illustrator, and graphic artist known for
vibrant color, expressive brushwork, and imaginative compositions. After an illness in infancy caused significant hearing loss, visual expression became her primary form of communication.
Her work blends realism and expressionism, inspired by landscapes, wildlife, and quiet moments captured during her travels and hikes. Jean combines painting, photography, and digital design to create works that bring nature, light and emotion into spaces. Her artwork is collected nationally and internationally, enhancing homes, offices and corporate environments. View Jean Habeck's exhibitions, publications, and awards on the Artist CV & Press page.
My Inspiration
Nature is at the heart of her creative process. Hiking mountains, exploring forests, and walking along ocean shores provide the foundation for her work. Photographs of landscapes and wildlife become expressive paintings and mixed-media pieces that capture of feeling of being in those moments.
Her goal is simple: to bring the beauty, calm, and energy of the natural world into the spaces where people live and work, offering collectors a moment of nature, travel and quiet reflection.
